Chinese Red Date Braised Beef & Mashed Carrots
After birth it is important to consume iron rich foods such as good quality beef, which is also high in B vitamins, omega 3 fatty acids, collagen and iron. This dish boosts energy levels and restores damaged tissues. The Chinese red dates provide a rich and caramel like flavor. They are rich in anti-oxidants and vitamin C which strengthen the immune system and encourage healing.
